Become a guide

Have you lived in another country and want to share your experiences?

LunchTrip takes kids and grown-ups on Virtual Flights to countries around the world: the places, the food, the music, the words people say every day. We want each Flight to sound like the people who live there. That’s where you come in.

What guides do

Everyone

Review a Flight

Take the Flight and tell us what we got right and what we missed: facts, place names, photos, everyday life. It takes about an hour or two.

Native speakers

Record a few words

If it’s your native language, say the Flight’s names and words, so learners hear a real voice instead of a computer.

Native speakers

Check a translation

If one of the app’s languages is your native language, read the Flight in it and tell us what sounds off.

We’re looking for guides for any country not already covered by a guide.

You don’t need to be a teacher or an expert. You just need to know the place and care about how it’s shared. Raised bilingual? That counts for recording, as long as your pronunciation is native.

What you get: a little of your story in the Flight, like where you lived and what you’d want passengers to know, so they meet the real person behind it. You choose what we share. You also get your name in the Flight’s credits (or not, if you prefer), a Flight that tells your country’s story well, and our thanks.

It takes about three minutes. We read every application and reply by email.
